Project Summary
Denham Benn architects have created a spectacular building to echo the contours of Arran as you’d see it from Ailsa Craig. The interior houses a restaurant, café, retail space and the all-important tour experience.
The Solus Solution
Service Provided: Full architectural lighting concept, specification and supply of fixtures for the front of house lighting in line with the brief from Bright.
What’s Special: This was an amazing project to work on. The central spine of the interior dominates the space.
Our approach was to minimize the visual impact of the light fixtures whilst providing appropriate effective and atmospheric lighting to the individual spaces.
Technical Details: We specified a range of dali dimmable fixtures, using a 3000K chip with a premium CRI of >90. The profile used in the main open areas was the Ride System from Molto Luce.
